Lee is a local coach who has been involved in swimming his entire life. He was previously the Junior State and National Coach on the Northern Beaches for 5 years, supporting young swimmers as they developed and competed at higher levels.

As a swimmer, Lee was an Australian Champion in Surf Lifesaving and competed at the Australian Age Championships for Warringah under renowned coach Tim Lane.
